CTV-The Calabasas Channel Wins SCAN NATOA STAR Award for Overall Excellence

CTV, The Calabasas Channel, has been honored with the prestigious 2013 SCAN NATOA STAR Award for Overall Excellence along with six other awards in a ceremony held May 30th at the SCAN NATOA Conference in Santa Monica.

The STAR Awards (www.scannatoa.org/) recognize excellence in government programming in California and Nevada.  

In addition to the overall award, CTV also received first place honors for its 2013 Municipal Election Coverage and second, place recognition for its magazine show “The Buzz” and the documentary profile “City Spotlight: Fretted Americana.” 

CTV also received 3rd place awards in the Public Safety category for “City Spotlight: West Nile Virus”; in the Public Affairs category for “Mayor’s State of the City Address 2013”; and in the Talk Show category for “Preview, An Eye on the Arts.”
