Paris Jackson Reportedly Hospitalized But 'Physically Fine' Following Suicide Attempt in Calabasas

Paris Jackson, the 15-year-old daughter of the late Michael Jackson, is reportedly "physically ... fine" after being hospitalized Wednesday after an apparent suicide attempt at her Calabasas home, the family lawyer said.

Someone made a 911 call at 1:27 a.m. reporting a possible overdose, and she was taken out on a stretcher around 2 a.m. and driven off in an ambulance, the celebrity website TMZ reported.

The teen's mother, Debbie Rowe, told Entertainment Tonight that Paris was taken to a hospital with cuts on her wrists.

Citing unnamed sources, Entertainment Tonight and TMZ both reported that Paris was upset because she was not being allowed to attend a Marilyn Manson concert.
Manson is scheduled to perform Thursday night at Gibson Amphitheatre with Alice Cooper.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore confirmed that someone was taken by ambulance from an address on Prado de la Felicidad in Calabasas.

Early today, Jackson wrote on her Twitter page: "Yesterday all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay,'' and "I wonder why tears are salty.''

Paris Jackson is the middle child of the late Michael Jackson. The pop superstar also had a now-16-year-old son, Michael Joseph "Prince'' Jackson Jr., with Rowe. His third child, 11-year-old Prince Michael Jackson II, known as "Blanket,'' was born through a surrogate.
