Book, Movie About Calabasas Bling Ring Chronicles Teens Who Stole From Celebrities

The story of a group of Calabasas teenagers who burglarized several celebrity homes in 2008 and 2009 is the subject of an upcoming movie and book, according to LA Weekly.

The Bling Ring film, directed by Sophia Coppola and due in theaters June 14, is inspired by a Vanity Fair article written by Nancy Jo Sales, who has since turned it into a book which hits bookstores next week, the report said.
