Gene Riley, Neighbor

Hi, everyone. My name is Gene Riley. I am a retired schoolteacher. I have a passion for getting out doors and exploring the sights and byways of our community. I'm often accompanied by my family with the grand-kids. Otherwise I have my two faithful friends and companions, Murphy (the white Westie) and Mandy (the  black Tibetan Terrier, mix) seen in my profile picture.

When I find a great place where moms and dads can take their brood for an enjoyable adventure I'll gladly pass on the news. I'm a believer in relaxed, easy to do, kid-friendly, cheap (free is best), and close to home events. So most of the postings will be scaled to this criteria.
