The first thing is to toughen penalties on the repeat offenders. Then let's try a .07. Then let'sRead More expand the scope of our public transportation system, especially our rail.

No smoking, no plastic bags...and paying for a recycled paper bag...and now you are trying to makeRead More yourselves look good by saying that City Council is involved in crackdown about cell phones...please there are far more important things gong on here in our GREAT city that you should be concerned about.........
Jean April 13, 2013 at 01:55 pm
The Sheriff's have been ticketing for cell phone usage while driving (talking/texting) for at leastRead More 4 years now? I guess city council has to make themselves look relevant in today's world.

How would this be affective? I mean, with all the distracted drivers, they're too poor to payRead More attention to your campaign!

I think he should be charged, given a spanking by the judge hearing the case and sent to prison forRead More 10-yrs. Obviously he is a hardened criminal who needs to be taught a lesson.
Amanda Nizinski-Lewis April 3, 2013 at 08:37 pm
No I do not think that he should be charged with assault, he did not do anything that normalRead More teenagers his age would have done in the same situation and they never were charged with assault. I think that we try to hold famous people to a higher standard and we just have to remember that in the end he is still just a teenager doing normal teenage stuff.

Yes, I think Justin Bieber should be charged! My room needs cleaning, does that count as communityRead More service if he cleans it?

Rogaine and Methamphetamines, not to mention teeth whitener, it sounds like he really wantedRead More testosterone and viagra, but since those come from behind the counter he opted for the next best thing in looking young and sexy! He was foreign and could not read labels I guess.

Keep Calabasas safe and beautiful.

Two nights in a row there was a loud knock at my door. When I called out from a few feet awayRead More "Who is it?" I received no answer. After checking the peep hole and seeing no one, I opened the door half expecting a UPS box or Fed Ex, but there was nothing there. I also live on Parkmor, so if we're being "cased" let's all keep our eyes open for suspicious intruders or possibly some kids pulling pranks.

Had he not confessed, I'd have thought he was an electrician-hobbyist if not an electrician. I'm aRead More qualified electrician, but do not have a license nor do I offer services to the public, as I am in California and I opt not to pay the outlandish costs and taxes of being an electrician here. However, I keep far more than 40 lbs of copper wire at any given time, as I often do electrical work on our own property or under other no-license -required circumstances. But the fact that I am not a practicing licensed electrician, and may be seen with large amounts of copper wire at any time, worries me that I might be falsely accused of stealing it. I can't always have receipts, because much of it is removed for re-use by me, or remnants from spools. It would be impossible to prove ownership or origin of wire I may possess.

So he drives a Lexus and is out on bail. Good luck in getting him back in court. Isn't thisRead More typical of our justice system? We catch criminals, release them on ridiculous bail - on $20,000 all he would have to come up with is $2,000 and then we're surprised when they don't show up. And, of course, he now sees how easy it is to commit a crime and be back on the streets soon after arrest.
