I too have firsthand experience with Ms. Martin as a PFC member the entire time she served as our…Read More president and I (and the vast majority of members) had the exact opposite experience/impression that you have. As for the election of 2011, I was at the forums, read the campaign literature and even met several of the candidates, including Ms. Martin, and found her (and continue to find her) genuine, able, caring and competent. As for the Patch posts during the 2011 campaign, I did read them and the very few that opposed her seemed to oppose her as you do -- with broad, unspecific, mean-spirited smears aimed more at harming her character than bringing actual facts to light.
not able to vote but live in calabasas April 13, 2013 at 11:18 am
i am only stating my first hand experience with her. I believe the things i witness and…Read More conversations i had with her, left me to believe that ms martin is not qualified for the positions she holds. Go back to her campaign and re-read posts of how she handled herself and how her supporters helped themselves. I question her motives for wanting to be in politics and i certainly do not believe she has any ability to be mayor of any city

Lucy Martin was, in fact, swept into office in 2011 by the hardy support of the vast majority of PFC…Read More parents and Calabasas voters who witnessed first hand her years of dedicated service to our schools and our city. "BRAVO" to Lizzy and the Marmalade Cafe and it's employee's.
Leave the pets at…Read More home-just because you want to put up with them, why should we! Especially at a restaurant, what would that woman do if her bird decided to poop or sqwark?
Vicky Becker must be some form of NUTTER, She is disgusting to even think that a bird let alone any other animal should be in a restaurant/any place that sells food!
Knowing that the Marmalade Cafe has this policy, I will continue to eat and enjoy going there.
Great going to the employee who refused to let her in with the bird. The employee deserves a raise....
