Celebrate Oktoberfest at Petersen Automotive Museum

The Petersen's Oktoberfest celebration features German cars, food and beer as well as activities for children.

The Petersen Automotive Museum is celebrating Oktoberfest with German cars, bratwurst and beer.

The Oktoberfest Cruise-In runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and includes activities for children and German food from Steingarten Restaurant. In addition to classics from the museum, German auto makers BMW, Porsche and Audi will have current vehicles on display.

If you have a German or other specialty vehicle, a special $20 registration includes parking, museum admission, bratwurst and beer. You can register online.

Otherwise admission is $15 for adults, $10 for students, $5 for children 3 to 12 and free for those younger.

The museum has over 150 vehicles on display out of a collection of more than 300. There is a museum shop and a Johnny Rockets restaurant.

The Petersen is located on Museum Row across from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
