Celebrity Basketball Game to Bring Anti-Bullying Awareness

In celebration of Anti-Bullying Awareness Month in October, which was proclaimed by the City Council, the community is invited to the 1st Annual Rock Life Anti-Bullying Celebrity Basketball Game on Saturday, September 7, from 2-6 p.m. at the Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center.

Mitch “The Rock” Richmond, in partnership with Calabasas Mayor pro Tem David Shapiro, presents The Launch of Rock Life to redefine strong anti-bullying awareness campaigns and its proclamation of the ban on bullying in Calabasas.

“Rock Life is a national movement dedicated to bringing awareness to the seriousness of bullying and related issues like depression, eating disorders, obesity, self-mutilation and suicide," Richmond said. "Using multi-media outlets and Entertainment Therapy, we help participants build self-esteem, create healthy relationships, and navigate the ups and downs of life with courage and confidence.
