Coyotes Rally After Falling Behind 20-0

The Calabasas boys basketball team makes an amazing turnaround Saturday night against Thousand Oaks.

The Calabasas boys basketball team took a 49-46 victory over Thousand Oaks Saturday night, despite trailing so far behind that no one would have predicted victory.

The Coyotes were down, 18-0, at the end of the first quarter. They trailed, 20-0, before scoring their first points.

They still trailed by seven points with just 21 seconds on the clock. But junior Jeremy Lieberman, who finished with 23 points, hit two free throws with 2 seconds left that put the Coyotes ahead.
