Jamie Rauchwarger was named the new head coach of girls varsity basketball team on Monday, the Acorn reports.
The 25-year-old Oak Park native spent the last year as an assistant coach for Caltech's womens' basketball team.
“She’s going to bring enthusiasm and passion for the game, that’s for sure,” Coyotes athletic director Larry Edwards told the Acorn.
Rauchwarger has also coached at Sherman Oaks CES, St. Mary’s Academy in Portland, Oregon and Oak Park.
She's the fourth girls varsity basketball coach in four years, according to the Acorn.
