Voting 'Constant and Busy' in Calabasas

Voters have reportedly been lining up since 7 a.m., according to several precincts.

 

Polling places throughout Calabasas are reporting a steady flow of voters since early Tuesday morning.

"It's been constant and busy," said Richard Velson, a volunteer at the Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center polling place. "We haven't had a moment when there's been a lapse."

Velson's particular precinct usually does a lot of mail-in votes; however, that hasn't slowed down the foot traffic on Tuesday, he said.

Over at Fire Station 68, precinct volunteer Irv Starr reports a "busy" morning and approximately 15 people waiting on line to vote at 7 a.m.

"It's been a pretty steady flow," he said.
