Voters Need to Register to Vote by Sept. 2

Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) Dean C. Logan reminds voters that the deadline to register to vote in the upcoming election is Monday, Sept. 2. The Special Elections take place on Sept. 17, 2013. 

There are several options to register to vote: 

•       Apply online at www.lavote.net.

•       Apply in person at the RR/CC’s Norwalk office: 12400 Imperial Highway.

•       Apply in person at public libraries, Department of Motor Vehicles offices, U.S. post offices and most government buildings where paper voter registration applications are available.

L.A. County residents who registered to vote can check their status online (click here). 

There are nearly 251,600 voters in Assembly District 45, which includes parts or all of Calabasas, Canoga Park, Chatsworth, Encino, Hidden Hills, North Hills, Northridge, Reseda, Sherman Oaks, Tarzana, West Hills, Winnetka and Woodland Hills.
