Special City Council Meeting to Interview Commission Candidates

Applicants for city commission positions will be interviewed at a special City Council meeting Wednesday evening.

A total of 13 applications were received from registered voters in the City of Calabasas, and there are currently six vacancies.

The council is still taking new applicants and will review those who wish to be considered for reappointment.

Those appointed to Commissions will serve a two-year term through March 31, 2015. Appointments to the Library Commission will expire on March 31, 2016. Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center appointees will serve a one-year term or until replacements are named.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in council chambers.
