Calabasas residents are being asked to take part in a survey that aims to gauge disaster preparedness in the community.

The survey is meant to provide a forum for public input on the level of disaster preparedness in the community. It also aims to identify risks in the area, according to the Las Virgenes-Malibu Council of Governments.

The survey is being conducted in the communities of the five member cities of the Las Virgenes-Malibu Council of Governments, including Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Malibu and Westlake Village.
