Teen Court

Teen Court is a program run by teens for teens. Teen offenders, between the ages of 13 and 17, who have committed a misdemeanor crime have their cases heard by a jury of their peers. A local volunteer judge or attorney presides as Judge and is directly involved in the Court proceedings.

Teen Court is held at 4:30 p.m. the third Thursday of every month at the City of Calabasas Founders Hall. All volunteers must sign in by 4:00p.m. The actual court session begins promptly at 4:30p.m. Attire must be appropriate for court. Shorts are not allowed in the courtroom. Shirts may not have any writing, slogans or logos and must be able to be tucked into pants or skirt.
