Tujunga Man Accused of Stealing $1,000 in Items from Calabasas Grocery Store

Patrik Nazarian of Tujunga, who is also accused of possessing methamphetamine, is free on $20,000 bail.

A 28-year-old man accused of stealing $1,099 in merchandise from an Albertsons in Calabasas was free on bail today.

The theft was reported at 12:50 p.m. March 9 at the Albertsons at 2651 Agoura Road in Calabasas, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lost Hills/Malibu Station.

Patrik Nazarian of Tujunga was arrested on March 9 and freed on $20,000 bail the same day, according to jail records.

Nazarian is accused of running out of the grocery store with a bag full of vitamins, Rogaine hair growth medication, teeth whitening strips and lotion. He reportedly told investigators that he took the vitamins for his sick mother.

A deputy who searched the man's Toyota discovered $4,347 in cash and methamphteamine.
