Tujunga Man Accused of Stealing $1,000 in Items from Calabasas Grocery Store

Patrik Nazarian of Tujunga, who is also accused of possessing methamphetamine, is free on $20,000 bail.

A 28-year-old man accused of stealing $1,099 in merchandise from an Albertsons in Calabasas was free on bail today.

The theft was reported at 12:50 p.m. March 9 at the Albertsons at 2651 Agoura Road in Calabasas, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lost Hills/Malibu Station.

Patrik Nazarian of Tujunga was arrested on March 9 and freed on $20,000 bail the same day, according to jail records.

Nazarian is accused of running out of the grocery store with a bag full of vitamins, Rogaine hair growth medication, teeth whitening strips and lotion. He reportedly told investigators that he took the vitamins for his sick mother.

A deputy who searched the man's Toyota discovered $4,347 in cash and methamphteamine.

Rogaine and Methamphetamines, not to mention teeth whitener, it sounds like he really wanted testosterone and viagra, but since those come from behind the counter he opted for the next best thing in looking young and sexy! He was foreign and could not read labels I guess.
