Transient Gets 45 Days for Trespassing at Selena Gomez's House

Che Cruz pleaded no contest to unauthorized entry of a residential dwelling.

A 20-year-old transient was sentenced today to 45 days in jail for going into a guest house at a Calabasas-area property being purchased by singer/actress Selena Gomez.

During his initial court appearance, Che Cruz pleaded no contest to unauthorized entry of a residential dwelling and was immediately sentenced by Superior Court Commissioner Alvin Nierenberg.

The judge also ordered Cruz to serve three years on probation and to stay away from Gomez and her residence, according to Deputy District Attorney Eduards Abele.

Cruz was arrested Sunday inside a bathroom of a guest house on the property being purchased by Gomez, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. Gomez's security staff detained the man until Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies arrived.
