3 Arrested in Connection With Attempted Car Burglary
Police are called to the 5300 block of Parkmor Road Thursday morning.
The following press release is from the Los Angeles Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Department:
On the morning of Thursday, August 2, 2012, at approximately 5:20 a.m., Malibu/Lost Hills Station deputies responded to the 5300 block of Parkmor Road, Calabasas, regarding a possible burglary that had just occurred. A local resident had stumbled upon two males that appeared to be lurking around a parked vehicle, and called 9-1-1. Upon seeing the resident, the males fled the location in a black, 4-door, Infinity sedan. Responding deputies located the vehicle a short distance away and initiated a traffic stop. Upon conducting a field investigation, deputies took the three occupants of the vehicle into custody.
Twenty-two year-old Spartak Karabedian, of Van Nuys, 21 year-old Suren Harutyunyan, of Burbank, and a 17 year-old male subject, also of Burbank, were subsequently booked at Malibu/Lost Hills Station for suspicion of attempted auto burglary. The two adults were later released on $20,000 bail and the subject was released to his parents.
