On the morning of Thursday, August 2, 2012, at approximately 5:20 a.m., Malibu/Lost Hills Station deputies responded to the 5300 block of Parkmor Road, Calabasas, regarding a possible burglary that had just occurred. Upon conducting a field investigation, deputies took the three occupants of the vehicle into custody.

Twenty-two year-old Spartak Karabedian, of Van Nuys, 21 year-old Suren Harutyunyan, of Burbank, and a 17 year-old male subject, also of Burbank, were subsequently booked at Malibu/Lost Hills Station for suspicion of attempted auto burglary.
