'Swatting' 911 Prank Prompts Large Police Response to Kardashian Home

The reality TV stars are the latest victims of fake emergency calls targeting celebrities.

A false report of an assault at the Hidden Hills home of 1976 Olympic decathlon gold medalist Bruce Jenner and his wife and reality television star Kris drew a response by sheriff's deputies Friday.

In the latest case of what authorities call swatting, deputies were sent to the residence around 4:40 p.m. on a call that some type of assault had occurred, said Sgt. Shawn Ruda of the Los Angeles County sheriff's Malibu/Lost Hills Station

"We went there, they searched the house, nobody was inside and nobody was hurt," Ruda said.
