Guns, ammo stolen from car

Nearly $20,000 worth of guns were stolen from a vehicle parked at a home in the 26000 block of Adamor Road, Malibu/Lost Hills deputies said.

The vehicle burglary happened sometime between 10 p.m. on Dec. 22 and 10 a.m. on Dec. 23, authorities said.

The victim said his son locked the car using the doors' control buttons once they arrived back home for the night. The victim added that if the car isn't locked using a remote alarm button, the doors would unlock automatically after a short period of time.

There were no signs of forced entry, deputies said.

Several bags containing guns and ammunition were removed from the vehicle's rear cargo compartment, deputies said.

Some of the stolen items included:

  • A 22-caliber Smith & Wesson revolver worth $500.
  • A .357 Taurus Revolver with wood grips worth $450.
  • a .357 Smith & Wesson with black rubber grips worth $500.
  • A silver .357 Smith & Wesson revolver with wood-engraved grips worth $2,000.
  • A Colt 45 semi-automatic pistol worth $1,000.
  • A 28-gague Classic Double shotgun worth $2,500.
  • A Beretta teknys semi-automatic shotgun worth $1,900.
  • A Browning Diana 12-gauge shotgun worth $7,000.
  • A Browning shotgun worth $4,000.
  • A 12-gauge Perazzi shotgun worth $2,500.
  • About $400 worth of ammunition.

Purse, Laptop Stolen

A $300 Michael Kors purse and a $1,000 HP laptop were stolen from a vehicle parked at a residence in the 5300 block of Las Virgenes Road, according to deputies.

The vehicle burglary occurred sometime between 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 21 and 8 a.m. on Dec. 22, deputies said.

The burglar smashed the front passenger window of the car to gain entry, a deputy's report read.

A $50 bluetooth earpiece was also stolen from the vehicle, the report read.

Deputies were unable to find any witnesses to the theft.
