Rapper Lil Za Pleads No Contest after Drug Arrest at Justin Bieber's Home

The 20-year-old rapper, whose real name is Xavier Domonique Smith, was immediately sentenced to a drug program to be determined by the county probation department

Rapper Lil Za -- who was taken into custody in January after Los Angeles County sheriff's investigators went to singer Justin Bieber's Calabasas home to investigate an alleged egg-throwing incident -- pleaded no contest today to a felony drug charge.

The 20-year-old rapper, whose real name is Xavier Domonique Smith, entered his plea to possession of Ecstasy, along with one misdemeanor count of damaging a jail or prison, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.

Smith was immediately sentenced to a drug program to be determined by the county probation department, 20 days of community labor, three years probation and one day already served in county jail. He also was ordered to pay $600 in restitution and a $1,000 fine.

The felony drug count can be reduced to a misdemeanor if he completes the drug program.

Smith was taken away in handcuffs Jan. 14 from Bieber's Calabasas home -- which has since been sold -- and booked at the sheriff's Malibu/Lost Hills Station. While awaiting release, Smith picked up a phone on the wall and smashed it, according to sheriff's Lt. Michael Williams.

About a dozen sheriff's investigators were involved in the search at Bieber's home in connection with allegations that the singer threw eggs at a neighbor's residence, causing an estimated $20,000 in damage.
