Purse Snatching at Ralphs; Break-In on Las Virgenes Rd.
A woman's purse is stolen from her shopping cart; a home is ransacked.

Purse snatching at Ralphs
A female victim had her purse and wallet stolen from her supermarket cart while shopping at in the on Monday, sheriff's deputies said.

The theft occurred sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 12:10 p.m., deputies said.
She reportedly noticed that her belongings were missing when she went to pay for her goods at the checkout stand.

A short time later, she called to cancel her cards and was told that there were several transactions pending at the Rite Aid store in Woodland Hills, deputies said.
Home burglary
A home in the 5700 block of North Las Virgenes Road was entered Monday through a split screen door and ransacked, deputies said.
The break-in occurred between 8:50 a.m. and 5:15 p.m., according to a report. Nothing was stolen, the report said.
Camera, iPod stolen from car
An iPod and a camera were stolen Monday from a truck parked in the 4400 block of Alta Tupelo Drive, sheriff's deputies said.
The vehicle burglary happened between 12:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., according to deputies.
The victim discovered the items missing when he returned to his truck and found one of the passenger doors left slightly ajar, deputies said.
