The manager said that he heard bottles tapping against each other when he passed by the victim and detained him.

One of the deputies performed a pat down and discovered that the suspect was wearing two pairs of pants, one of which was taped around his ankles to prevent goods from falling out.

Deputies removed two bottles of tequila from his pants, as well as three plastic containers of food.

The suspect was taken to the Lost Hills station and booked.

The suspect had three warrants in his name stemming from a July 27 incident.

His name could not be released because he was a juvenile, deputies said.

Grand theft auto: Calabasas

A party guest may have stolen a 2003 Toyota Tundra from a residence on the 5800 block of Las Virgenes Road.

The theft is believed to have occurred sometime between 10 p.m. Aug. 11 and 10 a.m. Aug. 12, according to deputies.

The victim said she threw a party on the night her car, valued at $8,000, was stolen.

As her friends left at the end of the night, one person asked whether he could crash on the couch for the night.

He went to sleep around 11 p.m.

The victim woke up to find her truck, which was parked in a parking stall, and the keys to her vehicle missing.

A $100 Volcom wallet, a $300 MP3 player, a $300 GPS navigation system and $160 in cash were inside the truck when it was stolen.

Through mutual friends the victim learned that the man who spent the night at her home was out on parole and that he was spotted in Hemet, where he allegedly lives, the day after the party.

A check of surveillance video met with negative results.

A check of the suspect's name also failed to produce results, but the victim said she would try to provide more information about him to deputies at a later date after contacting some more mutual friends.

Generator thefts continue

A $3,000 Honda-brand generator was burglarized from a trailer in the 1200 block of Las Virgenes Road.

The theft happened sometime between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Aug. 21, according to sheriff's deputies.

Someone cut a hole in a fence to gain entry to the 140-acre ranch where the trailer was stored.

The person found the trailer by following a dirt road and gained entry by tying a chain to the trailer's door and the other end of the chain to his car. He then accelerated his vehicle to pry the trailer door open.

The victim's workers told him that they spotted a male driving a gray van enter the property, but were not sure if he was the perpetrator.

A $10,000 generator was stolen from a construction site on Agoura Road in June and a $2,500 generator was burglarized from another local construction site in July.
