Guns, iPods and watches are among the items reported stolen so far this month.

Here is a list of incidents that have occurred in May compiled by the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station.

A Watch, Money and … Artillery

An AR-15 rifle and a .38 caliber revolver were among the items stolen from a home in the 5900 block of Las Virgenes Road sometime May 7 between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. The victim returned home that day to find a window in his master bedroom shattered and closet doors and dresser drawers left open.

The victim said a backpack containing two handguns, a Smith and Wesson revolver, a Browning handgun in a black vinyl bag and an AR-15 rifle were all taken from his closet floor.

A $10,000 Cartier watch and $5,000 in currency were taken from the top dresser drawer.

In addition, a Burberry watch valued at $200 was removed from his nightstand and an iPad was taken from his bedroom desk.

Sheriff's deputies said they saw a softball-sized rock on the ground just outside the window that could have possibly been thrown to break the window.

The victim said the rifle was hidden in a travel trunk and was given to him by mistake. He said the weapon belonged to his father-in-law.

This Burglar Isn't Claustrophobic

Someone maneuvered their way through a crawl space to gain entry to an apartment closet in the 23000 block of Park Capri and stole a black leather purse containing credit cards, IDs and medical cards.

The burglary is said to have occurred between May 1 at 8 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. on May 3.

Sheriff's deputies  said they found dust and debris in the victim's closet after investigating the scene.

All the doors and windows were locked.

The victim said the burglar may have been a former tenant who has been harassing her via the Internet.

A 5- inch by 10-inch hole was cut in the roof of a 1996 Mazda Miata parked on the 23000 block of Park Capri in order to remove an iPod Shuffle and a GPS navigation system.

The vehicle burglary was reported to have occurred between May 10 at 5 p.m. and 1 p.m. on May 11.

The work of a fingerprint technician was requested.

Could You Spare Some Ajax?

About $150 worth of cleaning supplies was stolen from a closet at A.E. Wright Middle School.

The missing items were reported May 6 at 2:40 p.m., but could have been stolen as early as May 1 at 10 a.m., according to sheriff's deputies.

Deputies saw no signs of forced entry other than a sharp scratch on the door to the supply closet, but said the mark may be old.

A Contradiction: A College Student Minus an Ipod

A backpack featuring a Pepperdine University emblem that contained school supplies and power cords for an iPod and a digital camera was stolen from a 1997 Toyota on the 5900 block of Las Virgenes Road.

The burglary is said to have occurred between 11 p.m. on May 5 and 7 a.m. on May 6.

The passenger side window was smashed to gain entry, according to sheriff's deputies.
