Large Turnout for LA County Sheriff's Ride to Honor Injured Veterans

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's just announced that over 350 people participated in a charity bicycle ride to honor disabled soldiers on Saturday.

More than 350 cyclists participated in the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Cycling Team-hosted Honor Ride.

The ride was held near the Malibu/Lost Hills Station in Agoura Hills on Saturday.

A majority of the participants rode the challenging 62-mile course through the hills of Calabasas, Agoura and Malibu, while a sizeable number rode the intermediate 40-mile course or the novice 17-mile course.

The events are held to support and honor both military and civilian personnel by raising funds and awareness for the mental and physical rehabilitation of wounded soldiers.
