A woman who fell and injured her leg while hiking in Malibu Creek State Park was carried out to safety Saturday.
The rescue began just before 4 p.m. Saturday on the Cage Creek Trail near Reagan Ranch in Malibu Creek State Park, according to the L.A. County Fire Department.
The woman fell and suffered a leg injury.
L.A. County firefighters and California State Park Rangers responded to the rescue.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Malibu Search and Rescue was called in to assist medics with carrying out the woman to a waiting ambulance.
