Pricey Watches Stolen; Ticket Theft at Business Office

Nearly $25,000 worth of watches stolen from a home; more than three dozen theme park tickets taken from business.

Expensive watches, cologne stolen in home burglary

Nearly $25,000 in watches and $10,000 worth of cologne were stolen from a residence in the 23000 block of Palm Drive, according to Malibu/Lost Hills sheriff's deputies.

The burglary happened sometime between 9 a.m. and midnight Jan. 14, deputies said.

The burglar smashing the sliding door of the master bedroom's balcony to gain access to the home, according to a deputy's report.

A $10,000 white gold Franck Muller watch and a $14,000 white gold Audemars watch were stolen from a wooden valet in the bedroom closet, the report read. About 30 bottles of cologne, collectively worth $10,000, were taken from the master bathroom, deputies said.

The victim lives in a gated community, but the guard gate at the entrance is currently unmanned, authorities said.

Wallet theft at Gelson's

A wallet was stolen from a purse that had been placed on the child seat of a shopping cart at , according to deputies.

The theft occurred sometime between 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Jan. 14, deputies said.

The victim noticed her brown vinyl wallet was missing when she went to pay at the cashier, a deputy's report read. She returned to a Shell gas station, where she last used one of her credit cards, but was unable to locate her wallet, the report read. She told deputies that she did not notice any suspicious behavior while she was shopping.

The victim canceled all of her credit cards shortly after she noticed her wallet was missing.

Amusement park tickets stolen

Nearly 40 theme park tickets, meant to be gifts for employees, were stolen from a local business office, according to deputies.

The tickets to attractions such as Legoland, Sea World and Aquarium of the Pacific were taken from a cubicle at the offices of Spirent Communications on Agoura Road sometime between 1 p.m. Dec. 28 and 8 a.m. Jan. 3, deputies said.

There are no surveillance cameras inside Spirent offices, deputies said.
