Fire Hydrant Hit, Water Shoots Into the Air

A car backing out of the Albertson's parking lot Thursday afternoon accidentally hit a fire hydrant, causing it to erupt.

A privately owned fire hydrant located at the Albertson's on Agoura Road was accidently backed into by a car Thursday afternoon, causing it to spout in a geyser-like fashion.

L.A. County Fire Station 125 received the call at 1 p.m. and quickly shut the water off 10-15 minutes later, according to fire officials. No one was hurt.
