The theft occurred sometime between 3 p.m. on Dec. 1 and 6:30 a.m. on Dec. 2.

Deputies say the suspect entered the school via the main building and removed a $300 projector and a MacBook valued at $1,600 from on top of a teacher's desk in room 5B, while another Mac Book and a $300 Acer laptop were taken from room 5D.

The contents of an emergency kit were dumped onto the floor, while the bag itself, which could "easily fit" three computers, was missing.

Always remember to lock your doors

A $1,600 purse, a digital camera, and other items were stolen on Dec. 11 from a parked vehicle, whose owner "did not know for sure" if the doors were locked.

The vehicle burglary happened sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m in the 22800 block of Mulholland Highway.

The victim said she had left her Louis Vuitton purse in the backseat and covered it up with "some stuff."

Authorities were not able to find any signs of forced entry.

In addition to the purse, a $600 Louis Vuitton wallet, a $400 digital camera, a $250 Ipod, and a $250 Louis Vuitton checkbook were also stolen.

A burglar in need of a warm open fire?

About 50 firewood logs were stolen from a homeowner's driveway in the 26000 block of Veva Way.

The burglary took place sometime between 4 p.m. on Nov. 24 and 8 a.m. on Dec. 9, according to sheriff's deputies.

The victim said he noticed small amounts of firewood being removed from his driveway consistently over the course of two weeks.

Clothes as Camouflage?

A $2,500 MacBook and other items were stolen from a parked car in the 5900 block of Las Virgenes Road.

The vehicle burglary occurred sometime between 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 8 and 9 a.m. on Dec. 9.

The victim left the laptop and his wallet, which carried a credit card and $150 in US currency, on the passenger side's seat and tried to cover them with clothes to elude any potential thieves.

However, upon returning to his vehicle, the victim noticed someone had smashed the passenger side window to gain entry and steal his personal belongings.
