UPDATE: Death of Calabasas Man a 'Possible Suicide,' Coroner's Office Says
An autopsy was scheduled Friday on body found Wednesday next to Malibu Canyon Road.
The death of Calabasas resident Robin Thom, whose body was found Wednesday on an embankment beneath a cliff next to Malibu Canyon Road, was a "possible suicide," Ed Winter, assistant chief at the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner, said Friday.
An autopsy was scheduled to take place Friday.
The body of Thom, 63, was found at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday about a mile south of the Malibu Canyon tunnel, said Sgt. Mark Bock of the . The coroner's office released his identity Thursday. A parked vehicle was located near the body.
