Canadian Woman Goes Missing After Landing at LAX

The family of Sarah Stavenow says she was in town to pursue a job opportunity in Calabasas.

The Los Angeles Police Department posted an alert on its blog on Wednesday about a Canadian woman who has been missing since she landed at LAX on Nov. 16.

Sarah Stavenow, 26, was in town to pursue a job opportunity in Calabasas and was planning on staying at a Ramada in Canoga Park, according to KCAL, but never arrived.

Stavenow is a described as a white female with blond hair and blue eyes with multiple tattoos on her left arm. She stands at 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs around 165 pounds.

The Stavenow family has also started a Facebook group to help in their search.

If you have seen, or have any information regarding the whereabouts of Stavenow, the LAPD asks you to contact Det. Baca of the Missing Persons Unit at 213-996-1800.

I hope this was not some job offer from craigslist...I also wonder if she left any detail info with family and friends about the offer, like contact info names and address in calabasas...this does not sound good at all...
