Canadian Woman Goes Missing After Landing at LAX

The family of Sarah Stavenow says she was in town to pursue a job opportunity in Calabasas.

The Los Angeles Police Department posted an alert on its blog on Wednesday about a Canadian woman who has been missing since she landed at LAX on Nov. 16.

Sarah Stavenow, 26, was in town to pursue a job opportunity in Calabasas and was planning on staying at a Ramada in Canoga Park, according to KCAL, but never arrived.

Stavenow is a described as a white female with blond hair and blue eyes with multiple tattoos on her left arm. She stands at 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs around 165 pounds.

The Stavenow family has also started a Facebook group to help in their search.
