Calabasas Listed as 13th Safest City in California

SafeWise Security Systems says Calabasas is "a prosperous city that offers residents a wonderful mix of activities for mind and body."

A business consortium of home security providers has named Calabasas as the 13th Safest City in California in which to live.

SafeWise Security Systems named Calabasas among the safest cities, stating: "Situated in the hills west of the San Fernando Valley, Calabasas is a prosperous city that offers residents a wonderful mix of activities for mind and body. Calabasas is also an educated city, with over half the residents having earned a bachelor’s degree or higher. And it’s safe; according to the latest FBI Crime Report, just three robberies were reported to authorities in 2011. Calabasas boasts an active arts council that takes cultural art programming to unheard of levels."

Nearby Moorpark finished in 7th place and Agoura Hills finished 14th.

The study was made from the company's data and research since 2011, as well as the most recent FBI Crime in the U.S.
