Bieber to Face Misdemeanor Charge for Egging Incident
The Los Angeles County District Attorney's office will try the pop star for allegedly vandalizing his former neighbor's Calabasas home.

After months of deliberation, Justin Bieber will face charges for the alleged egging incident in Calabasas, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office just announced.
On Jan. 10, Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies from the Lost Hills Station took a report from a Bieber neighbor that the pop star threw eggs at his house. A few days later, deputies conducted a search warrant at Bieber's Calabasas mansion.
More than a mere case of juvenile pranking, the neighbor said the eggs caused $20,000 a damage. Deputies classified the case as a potential felony.
As late as last month, the D.A.'s office still hadn't decided what to do with the case. But today, a press release issued from Jackie Lacey's office says Bieber faces one misdemeanor count of vandalism.
Bieber has since moved from Calabasas.
According to TMZ, Bieber will enter a no contest plea; he will avoid jail time, but get a year probation and be ordered to pay restitution.

Singer Justin Bieber will be charged today with one count of misdemeanor vandalism for allegedly throwing eggs at a neighbor's Calabasas home in January, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office announced.
Bieber (dob 3/01/94) will not be present for his 1:30 p.m. arraignment at Los Angeles County Superior Court in Van Nuys in Department 100.
