PBY's GIANT Sale a Giant Success

 On July 27th Powered By Youth Foundation held its first GIANT Parking Lot Sale, and it was a major success. Combined with community donations and tireless work by the members of the foundation the day could have hardly gone any better. With customers showing up the night before and as early as two o’clock in the morning the day of to place pre sale orders a better start would have been hard to come by. Providing an incredible array of items the sale which opened at 8:00am was flooding with shoppers upon its official opening. Only helping the already positive atmosphere were the music of DJ Playtime, and services of local chains Jamba Juice and Jersey Mike’s setting up respective booths and selling smoothies and sandwiches throughout the day. By the end of the sale at two o’clock in the afternoon most of the items had been sold, and with proceeds going directly to programs for the foundation all parties involved were satisfied with the day’s result.
