I am not surprised at how Assemblyman Williams, in his very first sentence, neatly sidesteps the issue of gun control in this country and puts it somewhere else so that he doesn't have to take a stand against the insane proliferation of firearms in the US. He wants us to believe that he is righteously reacting to the terrible killings so that voters will approve of him. This has been the stance of every politician afraid to buck the mighty NRA, and why our culture is headed down the toilet. Over 85 percent of Americans want tougher gun laws, yet no politician will stand up for them for fear of losing his position. And I thought leaders were supposed to represent their constituent's viewpoints.
