The last in our Homemade Lunchable Recipe series, the Pizza Lunchable, is my kids' favorite. With a fresh crust, homemade sauce, shredded cheese and any toppings they choose, these lunches give our kids the freedom to create a fun and nutritious midday meal.
Pizza Lunchable
This recipe is made completely from scratch, but a natural, store-bought pizza dough and/or sauce can be substituted. Please read the labels before purchasing.

Pizza Crusts:
Special Equipment: Pizza stone or baking sheet, mixing bowls or stand mixer, plastic wrap

Serves: Makes 16 Lunchable-size crusts or 2-3 large crusts
Ingredients:
- 1 packet yeast
- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
Pizza Sauce:
Recipe makes enough sauce for 2-4 Lunchable pizzas or one large pizza. Recipe can be doubled but additional time will be required (see recipe)
Ingredients:
- 3 plum tomatoes, chopped
- 4 Tbsp. onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 1/4 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp. dried basil
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. sugar
