Forbes Ranks Calabasas' The Oaks Among Most Exclusive Gated Communities

TMZ and other celebrity-watch type media let the world know when the Kardashians became Calabasians. And it's not exactly a secret that The Biebs calls our city home as well. But just how exclusive is the gated community in which they live?

Well, Forbes last month rated the The Oaks among the top nine in the country, calling it "the cream of gated living."

Homes currently for sale within The Oaks community are listed with price tages ranging from $9,995,000 (for a seven bedroom, nine bath 11,649-square-foot home) to a mere $1,949,000 (for a five bedroom, six bath 4,634-square-foot home) on one real estate agent's website.

The community was listed along with neighboring Hidden Hills; Conyers Farm, Greenwich, Connecticut; Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club, Boca Raton, Florida; Tuxedo Park, Tuxedo Park, New York; Hillandale at Georgetown, Washington, D.C.; Pomander Walk, Manhattan, New York; The Car Barn, Capitol Hill, Washington, D.C. and Indian Springs Ranch, near Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
