Blog Post: Keeping an Eye on Eye Health

School's in session! Have you had your eyes checked yet?

Whether you are starting your educational journey or are a lifelong learner, one exam to take before opening your school books is an annual eye exam.

During a comprehensive eye exam, your eye doctor will check your vision, ability to focus, and eye health.

Yearly eye exams are important for children as well as adults.  Most everything a child learns is through the visual system, and 1 in 4 children has poor vision.  The easiest solution is to schedule an eye exam to ensure your child sees clearly.

Your child may already show signs of poor vision, including poor handwriting, inattentiveness, using a finger as a guide to read, excessive talking or interrupting.  Since these symptoms are similar to ADHD, many children with poor vision are misdiagnosed.  Don't delay your child's potential; schedule an eye exam today.
