Preparing for a disaster is very different than preparing for an emergency.
Learn the difference at the Emergency Preparedness Night where you and your family will hear a short, informative talk about best ways to be prepared for a disaster.
Knowledgeable city and county professionals will answer questions from the audience and there will be an overview of essential supplies.
Attendees can purchase products, receive the most up-to-date literature and sign up for CERT training.
Last year’s events succeeded in having 120 more informed neighbors, 40 of whom are now CERT trained, safer and more prepared.
Emergency Preparedness Night will take place October 16 at A.C. Stelle Middle School in Calabasas from 7-8 p.m.
On October 17, it will be held at Bay Laurel Elementary in Calabasas from 7-8p.m.
