Week in Review: Graduation, a New Sub Stop, and a Stolen Ducati

Calabasas High seniors say goodbye and the city says hello to its newest restaurant.

It was a week of beginnings and endings in Calabasas.

On one hand, Calabasas High seniors ended their grade school careers as they bid farewell to their school on graduation day.

And on the same day, the city welcomed Jersey Mike's, a new sub sandwich shop that opened its doors at the Summit at Calabasas.

MONDAY

WEDNESDAY

The day began with coverage of a Valley Invitational Baseball League game. Calabasas lost to Chatsworth 6-2.

A man that claiming to be an interested buyer made off with a Ducati 999 after taking it for a test drive.

Jersey Mike's Subs also held its grand opening on Wednesday. It became the first business at the Summit at Calabasas shopping center to open its doors.

THURSDAY

FRIDAY

SATURDAY

The weekend began with a story about a footbridge project that will connect A.E. Wright Middle School and Las Virgenes Creek. Work on the pedestrian walkway begins Monday.
