Week in Review: Attempted Molestation, Richardson Remembered

A man allegedly tries to lure an 8-year-old girl to a secluded spot in Calabasas, and family and friends of the woman who died after leaving the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station mark the one-year anniversary.

Sex crimes are rare in Calabasas, and an 8-year-old girl managed to avoid becoming the victim of one Thursday when she escaped after a male suspect tried to lure her to a secluded area of Park Capri. Authorities are still searching for the man.

And a month after the remains of Mitrice Richardson were found in a remote area in Monte Nido, her family held a candlight vigil where she was last seen alive: the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station.
