The Craving: Holiday Drinks

Cooler weather sparks cravings for nostalgic warm drinks. With the holidays in mind, here are three Calabasas spots to find drinks from gingerbread cookie lattes to mochas.

Watch out winter cold–the gingerbread cookie lattes are back and pack a warm, frothy punch. Tasting much like a gingerbread cookie crumbled and then melted into a liquid, the thick and sweet latte is sure to become addicting. And one of the individuals to openly succumb to the addiction is currently writing this story. Tip: Add some whipped cream and the drink can't be topped. Don't worry, not literally–the lid still closes.

2) Maddy's Market

Sometimes markets can surprise with the successful inclusion of a yummy bakery right inside of a store. Quickly ordering a mocha with extra whipped cream, the overflowing chocolate goodness smelled like the kind I used to have on Christmas morning. Rich but not overpoweringly so, every sip was as sweet as the last.
