Sam and Bruno Need a Home

Although they grew up in the same home, they can be adopted separately, although keeping the brothers together is preferred.

Meet Sam and Bruno. They are 5-year-old male German shepherd mixes that came to the shelter when their beloved owner was in an accident and could no longer care for them. It’s one of those situations where he did the right thing by bringing them in with the hope that a wonderful family would give them a home.

Here are some things you should know:

  • They are probably house-trained as they wait to go potty outside of their kennel.
  • They know how to sit.
  • They take treats gently.
  • They walk well on a leash.
  • They are very affectionate.
  • They love human companionship and attention.

Are you looking for two handsome, engaging brothers with great personalities to add to your family? Then ask to meet Sam and Bruno and, hopefully, adopt them both, because they have spent their entire lives together. It would be nice for them to remain a pair; however, they can go to separate homes.

To encourage the adoption of senior pets (animals 5 years+), the adoption fee for the month of May will be discounted. Senior animals make wonderful companion pets and are the prime choice for individuals who do not want the responsibility of training and raising a puppy. Senior pets are also usually more adaptable and integrate well into a new environment. Also, most of the time, senior pets are already house trained, have good manners, and have picked up basic lessons and commands, since most of them have lived with a family.

And if you are a senior citizen (60+ years with proper identification), the adoption fee will be waived this month.

To choose Sam and/or Bruno, request ID A4401619 and/or A4401616 respectively. Occasionally, pets have already been adopted. To check availability, call 818-991-0071 or visit the .
