Rounding Up Waste

Once a month locals can drop off their unwanted paint cans and other materials behind Calabasas Library.

The City of Calabasas sponsors a free monthly paint and used oil roundup in the parking lot behind Calabasas Library.

Those wanting to get rid of motor oil, oil filters, anti-freeze, latex paint and car batteries are welcome to stop by and don't even have to get out of their cars.

Employees of Waste Management, a trash service provider, remove acceptable waste from the vehicle and send it off to be recycled or reused.

The most amount of waste that can be accepted from a single vehicle is 15 gallons or 125 pounds.
