Gas Prices Continue to Drop

The average price is 11.9 cents less than one week ago.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County decreased today for the 34th consecutive day, falling nine-tenths of a cent to $3.904, its lowest amount since Aug. 8.

The average price has decreased 80.1 cents over the past 35 days, including 1 cent on Sunday, after rising 50.4 cents over the previous seven days and reaching a record high of $4.705 on Oct. 9, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 11.9 cents less than one week ago and 78.1 cents lower than one month ago, but 4.5 cents more than one year ago.
