Cheapest Gas Prices in Town

Three fueling stations in Calabasas were selling a gallon of self-service regular gasoline for $3.89 on Friday, the cheapest price in town.

That's 8 cents higher than the average price in Los Angeles County, which fell six-tenths of a cent to $3.81, the lowest rate since July 15, according to City News Service.

The county average has not changed by more than a tenth of a cent in the last 11 of 12 days, according to City News Service.

The average is 1.5 cents higher than a month ago and 68.1 cents higher than a year ago, the wire service reported.

In neighboring Woodland Hills, the price for a gallon of gas ranged between $3.65 and $3.89.
