Calabasas Music Festival Tickets on Sale

The concert at De Anza Park will feature several music acts ranging in style as well as a comedian.

Tickets are now on sale for the inaugural Calabasas Music Festival, which will feature R&B musicians, Latin jazz artists and other acts at on Sept. 10.

R&B vocalist Jeffrey Osborne is headlining the event, followed by keyboardist Gail Jhonson, Latin jazz group L.A. Mambo Combo and electric violinist Noel Webb, who is also one of the event's organizers.

"The music is going to be a different kind of experience than anyone's ever had in Calabasas on that field," Webb said, adding that he expects about 1,200 people to flock to the concert.

Comedian Jay Lamont, known for his impersonations of Prince, President Barack Obama and other famous indivdiuals, is also scheduled to take the stage.

The venue will open at 4 p.m. to the public with performances running from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

General admission is $50, VIP tickets are $120 and front row seat tickets with complimentary food are $150. Ten-person cabanas and tables can also be rented for $1,000.

A portion of the proceeds are to go toward benefiting the Santa Clarita Valley Boys & Girls Club.

Catered barbecue, a full bar and other vendors will be on hand at the event. Outside food or beverages will be not be permitted.

Parking details will be added to the event's website at a later date, Webb said.

The Calabasas Music Festival is being put on by Labrador Entertainment and the Barbeque Club Entertainment Company.
