5 Things You Need to Know Today: Oct. 25

An anti-bullying assembly, the running club meets, and the library is closed.

Welcome to "5 Things You Need to Know Today," a new Patch column where we give you essential information at a glance. Check back each day for more, and let us know what you think of this new feature in the comments.

  1. An anti-bullying assembly for parents only will be held at 7 p.m. at Calabasas High's gymnasium. A special event for students entitled "Teen Truth Live: Bully & School Violence Assembly" is scheduled for Tuesday at the school.
  2. The Lululemon Running Club will meet at 6 p.m. at the store for its weekly run. All levels are welcome.
  3. The Public Safety Commission will meet inside the council chambers at 7 p.m. Here's the agenda.
  4. The Calabasas Library is closed for today.
  5. There's a 20 percent chance for showers today with a high of 70, according to the National Weather Service.
