5 Things You Need to Know Today: Nov. 13
Calabasas Classic 5K and 10K runs, a bird walk and volleyball camp registration.
- The Calabasas Classic 5K and 10K runs will begin 8 a.m. and 9 a.m respectively at the Calabasas Civic Center. Stop by and support all the participants who are running to benefit local families battling cancer. 100 Civic Center Way Calabasas, CA 91302.
- Take a at beginning at 8:30 a.m. The event costs $7 for admission. Use the temporary entrance 200 yards past the main gate. Meet in main parking lot. Bring your own binoculars.
- Registration is now open for the spring United States Youth Volleyball Camp at Chaparral Elementary School. The eight-week program for boys and girls ages 7-15 begins next March and costs $125.
