5 Things You Need to Know Today: Dec. 15
Council race filing deadline looms, Frosty's magical show, and a reminder for Day Without a Bag.
- The deadline to file for the 2011 City Council race is 4:30 p.m. Calabasas Patch will bring you a list of candidates once the deadline passes.
- Don't forget! Frosty's Magical Show will be held at the at 4:30 p.m. inside the multi-purpose room. Children five years old or older and their families are invited to attend.
- The Kiwanis Club of Calabasas-Agoura and Learning through Doing Adventures are teaming up for their 3rd Annual Holiday Hope Drive. Bring new or gently used toys/stuffed animals, games, videos games, sporting equipment, books, clothes (infant, children, teens, & adults) to various drop off locations throughout Calabasas and Agoura Hills. The items will go toward benefiting families living in poverty within the LA and Ventura counties. Click here for drop off locations. The donation drive will run through Dec. 16.
